Robert Raymond Lewinski age 58 of Wyandotte, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Henry Ford Hospital, Wyandotte. Beloved husband of Mary (Hojnowski) Lewinski, stepfather of Melanie Hojnowski. Cherished brother of Gary (Sharon) Lewinski, Richard (Maria) Lewinski, Thomas (Beth) Lewinski, Barbara (Roger) Willetts, Ronald Lewinski and many nieces and nephews.  Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Regina Lewinski.

Robert was a dedicated U.S. Postal worker. A letter carrier for almost 30 years, he will be remembered by the community as thoughtful and kind. He hated taking an early retirement due to disability, as he was very dedicated to his job. During his years as a letter carrier, the Postmaster there commented, “he wished he had more employees on staff just like Bob”. For several years Bob had awards for “perfect attendance,” and he worked well with everyone. He missed all his co-workers, customers, and looked forward to retiree luncheons with old friends. Bob even met his wife Mary on his route. They were perfect for each other EXCEPT, he liked the Chicago Cubs and Mary liked the Detroit Tigers!
