Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it is the sacrament which gives the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply in the divine filiation, incorporate us more firmly into Christ, strengthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her mission, and help us bear witness to the Christian faith in words accompanied by deeds.  The Catechism of the Catholic Church #1316

For High School Students, please refer to the Religious Education Department by calling Julie Dzanbazoff at 734-285-9840, ext. 102. Confirmation preparation is offered to all 8th grade students and high schoolers who have not received this sacrament and to those students that received the sacrament at a young age and desire more knowledge regarding this sacrament.
For Post High School to Adult, refer to OCIA – Order of Christian Initiation of Adults.

The whole power of the sacrament of Penance consists in restoring us to God’s grace and joining us with him in an intimate friendship. Reconciliation with God is thus the purpose and effect of this sacrament. The Catechism of the Catholic Church #1468

The Holy Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life. The other sacraments, and indeed all ecclesiastical ministries and works of the apostolate, are bound up with the Eucharist and are oriented toward it. For in the blessed Eucharist is contained the whole spiritual good of the Church, namely Christ himself, our Pasch.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church #1324
