Donald Eugene Matt | January 8, 1933 – July 29, 2023

Age 90 of Riverview.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth Matt for 67 years. They married in 1956. Loving father of Donna Marie (David Jr.) Grachek and Norberto Donald Matt (Sharon Parthum).  Dearest grandfather of Christina Marie (Nicholas) Busse, Gabrielle Elaine Matt (Tom Ganos) and Caroline Marie Grachek. Great grandfather of Colton Dale Ganos,  Gabriella Mae Ganos, Mason Dale Ganos, Louisa Marie Busse and Charlotte Genevieve Busse.  Dear brother of the late Raymond Matt, the late Jeanette Faye Busha, the late Francis Thomas Matt, the late Thomas Ronald Matt, Pamela Patricia Ann (the late Lloyd) Geiger, the late Valentine John (Peggy) Matt, the late Saline Barbara (the late David) Gooding, Louis Stevphen (Nora) Matt and Sharon Marie (Bill) Susick.

Doanld graduated from A.E. Smith High School, now Riverview High School, in 1954 and earned an associate degree from Lawrence Tech. He was a proud Veteran of the Air Force where he served in the Korean War. He then joined the National Guard for 22 years becoming a Master Sergeant. Donald worked for 33 years at Monsanto Chemical Company in Trenton as a welder. He was a founding member of St. Cyprian Catholic Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Donald was an active member of the Riverview Kiwanis and a volunteer for the Goodfellows.

Donald enjoyed traveling, boating, camping, and hunting. But most of all, he enjoyed being with family and friends.
