Raymond Ackley – November 1, 2021

Raymond P. Ackley, Jr., age 57, passed away on November 1st, 2021 in Woodhaven, MI. 

Ray is survived by Lisa Brazil-Ackley, his loving wife of 23 years; his children, Griffin and Josephine Ackley; his mother, Marilyn Ackley (nee Gilwee); his sister, Kimberley Ackley-Warner; his niece and nephew, Phoebe Warner and Henry Warner; and his great-nephews, Charlie and Calvin. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond P. Ackley, Sr.; and his brother-in-law, Robert Warner.

Ray proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and liked to travel. He was a lover of film, art, and music. Ray was a devoted husband and father, and he loved his family with all his heart. He was generous and supportive, and lived his life with a positive, can-do attitude. He will be dearly missed by those whose lives he touched.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 13th, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 353 Elm St., Wyandotte, MI 48192 (734-285-9840).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ackley family to help with medical expenses.
