Planning a Wedding
It is expected that one of the engaged couples be registered and a member in good standing for at least six months prior to scheduling a wedding. Once you become engaged and before you secure a date for your reception, it is most important to meet with the pastor of St. Vincent Pallotti Parish. Please call the Parish Office at least 6 months before you plan on getting married at 734-285-9840, ext. 100. Once your wedding date is confirmed with the priest, please look over the items below to help with your wedding planning. When you meet with the pastor, he will also be giving you all this information.
- Sacrament of Marriage- Including Mass
Both couples should be baptized Catholic - Sacrament of Marriage- Service Only
One of the Couple needs to be baptized Catholic - Sacrament of Marriage- Convalidation
For those previously married civilly
One of the couple should be baptized Catholic
