Richard A. LaBeau, born on November 15, 1934, in Wyandotte, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025, at the age of 90. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Judith; his children, Jeffrey LaBeau (the late Terri), Mark (Lori) LaBeau, and Jeree (Troy) Haarala; his sister Maureen (the late Tom) Lakin; his grandchildren Stacy (Bob) VanAssche, Scott Harper, Kevin LaBeau, Jack Haarala, and Eric Haarala; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Madeline LaBeau; brother, Raymond (The Late Mary Jo) LaBeau and his grandson, Mark LaBeau.
Richard was known as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and golfing. Richard was an amazing storyteller and a skilled archer. He retired from McLouth Steel, where he dedicated many years of hard work.
His legacy of faith love of family,, and adventure will be cherished by all who knew him and he will be deeply missed.
