Louise R. O’Meara, age 84, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026. Born on January 13, 1942, to Louis and Stephania (Kopytko) Jeziorski, Polish immigrants who built their lives on hard work and devotion to family, Louise carried those same values with grace and warmth throughout her life.
Louise was the beloved wife of the late Thomas O’Meara Sr., who preceded her in death in 2023. Together, they built a life centered on love, laughter, and family. She was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas O’Meara Jr., in 2008.
She was a devoted and loving mom to her children, Tom O’Meara Jr. and Lisa (Dale) Ave-Lallemant. Louise was a proud and joyful Nana to Aaron (Erica) O’Meara and Shane (Kimberly) O’Meara, whose mother, Deena Shearer, remained a valued part of her family; Emily Richardson, Elizabeth Richardson, Drew Ave-Lallemant, and Aurora Ave-Lallemant; and cherished great-granddaughter, Mia Joyce O’Meara, just born this year.
Louise was the last surviving sibling in her family and was preceded in death by her siblings, Frank “Eddie” Jeziorski, Stanley Jeziorski, Mary (Henry) Staron, and Anna (Ernie) Farkas. She held deep love for her entire extended family and took great pride in helping raise not only her grandchildren, but also many nieces and nephews who were lucky to have her in their lives.
Known for her generous spirit—truly generous beyond measure—Louise dedicated her life to caring for others. Her caregiving touched people of all ages, from newborns to those in their final days, always offering comfort, kindness, and a steady presence.
She found her greatest joy in bringing people together. Louise loved hosting parties filled with laughter, delicious food, and the people she adored. The holidays were especially dear to her—she decorated enthusiastically for every occasion and made each celebration feel magical. She had a special gift for making life fun and memorable for all the children who came through her life, always finding ways to make them feel seen, loved, and included.
Her creativity and love shined in her baking and cake decorating. From beautifully crafted cakes and cake pops to “fun” chocolate molds, she created sweet treats that were as joyful as they were delicious. Her love language was giving, and she expressed it endlessly through thoughtful gifts, kind gestures, and the time she gave so freely to others.
Louise will be remembered for her warm heart, her playful spirit, and the countless lives she touched with her care and generosity. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and the love she shared so freely.
She will always be loved and will live on in our hearts.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord,
and let perpetual light shine upon her.
May the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen
