Beloved Husband of Colleen. Loving Father of Bill (Erica) Seguin, Audrey Nava, Diane (Sean Cassady) Seguin, Russell (Stephanie) Seguin and Donald (Evangeline) Seguin. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

PASSING OF RONALD “RG“ GORDON SEGUIN — It is with profound sadness that the family of Ronald Seguin, age 78, announces his passing, on May 13, 2026 at his home in Lincoln Park, MI where he had been a resident since 1978. Born in Detroit on April 9, 1948 as the second of eight children to Aubert and Shirley Seguin of Allen Park, MI, Ron completed elementary education in 1962 at St Mary Magdalen Grade School, Melvindale, and was a 1966 graduate of Detroit Sacred Heart Seminary High School. Following graduation, he voluntarily enlisted in the US Air Force (1966-1970) during the Vietnam War where he became an Aircraft & Warning Specialist stationed in Germany. While assigned there, he met and married the love of his life, Colleen G. Gaylord, who was the daughter of an Air Force officer. From their June 1970 marriage in Germany, they had five children: Bill (Erica), Audrey, Diane (Sean), Russ (Stephanie), and Donald (Evangeline); 16 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Ron was employed by DTE Energy for 30 years in several positions between June 1971 and July 2001. He also served as a Lincoln Park reserve police officer from 1982-1987. Afterward, he worked for Pinkerton Security (2001-2013) until he fully retired. In addition to his children, he also leaves to mourn his passing his wife of nearly 56 years, Colleen, and his six siblings: Lawrence (Brenda), Kenneth (Sharon), Thomas, Theresa (Michael) and David. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Mary Ellen, brother Daniel (Cheryl), granddaughter Ashley, and great-grandson Camdyn. Arrangements are being provided by Molnar Funeral Home. Viewing will take place on Monday, May 18, 2026 between 2:00 and 8:00 p.m., and a funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at St. Vincent Pallotti at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m Interment will be at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI, on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
