Family Tribute

My Mother Dolores was kind, loving, and giving to her family, friends, and to all she met along the way.  She was a devoted Catholic with amazing energy and she enjoyed life. She went to secretarial school and worked as an executive secretary at General Motors, which is where she met my father.  Together they lived overseas in France and Zaire, then returning to the United States.  They had many adventures alone the way and shared those memories over the years with all of us.

In later years, my Mom often visited the sick and she was on the committee at church for preparing funeral masses and gatherings. She did this for many years.  Also, she was often rescuing a cat or dog, and didn’t hesitate to bring them into her home. She was advocate for rescuing animals. Her current furry friends include her dogs Fred and Jed, and her loved cats Patrick, Pepper, and Tom.  All of which, of course, are rescues. She also loved to feed the birds, ducks, and squirrels to name a few.  Mom had a “ joie de vie”  evident by those who knew her. Additionally, she was an amazing cook and prepared a wide variety of cuisines for her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by those who shared in her light.
