Ushers are ministers of hospitality at all weekend and Holy day Masses, selected funerals and other functions as requested by the Pastor. They share the love and peace of Christ with others by being friendly, helpful, and hospitable at weekend liturgies. They greet the congregation as they enter the church, assist in the seating of parish members, manage collections and oversee the presentation of the gifts from the parish members to the altar, insure an orderly procession during Communion, distribute the church Bulletins following Mass and assist those in need. We encourage young adults to serve as an usher to experience the spirituality of this ministry. You will be assigned to a team at a Mass of your choosing and serve every third or fourth week. New Ushers are required to attend a training session.
