Chuck is the Oldest of 10 kids of Harold and Mary LaCombe.
Graduated from St Patrick High School in Wyandotte, MI.
Married high school sweetheart Patricia Patterson on May 8th 1970.
Charles and Patrica have three sons- Matthew, Martin and Thomas.
Chuck was a devoted Grandfather to 9 grandchildren- Maxwell, Zachary, Evan, Allyssa, Kaden, Sarah, Lilliana, Audrey and Kyle
Chuck Worked for Ford Motor Company for over 40 years as a Tool and Die Maker and eventually became the Skilled Trades Superintendent in the Dearborn Frame Plant.
Chuck was a skilled mechanic and builder who Designed and built his dream home in Carleton, MI.
Was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary during the 1970s and 1980s.
Trained to be and became a Private Pilot.
Chuck was an avid camper who camped throughout the United States. An avid deer, waterfowl and turkey hunter and was a proud member of the Carleton Sportsman’s Club where he was an avid clays shooter.
Over his life he was involved in the NRA, Carleton Sportsmans Club, Men’s Club at St. Pius Church in Southgate and St. Patrick’s Church in Carleton, Cub Scout Pack Master at St Pius in Southgate and a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus.
He was the one to always be there to help family and friends whenever they were in need.
He was a devoted husband to Patricia, his wife of 54 years.
Chuck would like to be remembered as a man who was devoted to his wife and family, an avid outdoorsman and a proud American.
