Schafran, David, 69, of Wyandotte passed away on August 2, 2025. He leaves behind his loving wife, Suzanne, his children, Sarah (Joe) Alastra and Daniel Schafran and his grandson, Giuseppe Alastra. David also leaves his memory to his siblings, Paulette (Eddie) Pokrzywnicki, Paul (Gae) Schafran, Suzanne (Brian) Smith, Frances (late Tony) Ricupati, James (Diane) Schafran, Charmaine (Dave), Jeanette Daughterty. His extended family, Father-In-Law, Sam Pizzo, Mike (Kim) Pizzo, Vince (Pam), Jefff (Kelli) Pizzo. Survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones, especially his therapy dog, Winston.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ruth Schafran.
David enjoyed woodworking, tailgating at U of M games, tinkering with things, fixing anything and everything, smoking, classic cards, rock music, western movies and reminiscing with family. He loved boating, golfing, coffee and sweets, plowing snow in the backhoe. David is honored to be an Army Veteran.
He is loved by many and will greatly missed.
