David Paul Bodrie | January 29, 1959 – July 22, 2026

David Paul Bodrie. Age 67 of River Rouge.

Beloved Husband of Laura Bodrie. Loving Father of Andrea (Charles) and Gina (Lyle). Dearest grandfather of Jenna, Thomas, C.J, Jayce and Levi. Dear brother of Gregory and Anthony. Beloved son of Rosemary and the late Paul.

David will be remembered for his generous heart and his willingness to help anyone in need. Family was the center of his life, and he cherished growing up surrounded by loved ones and carrying on traditions through festivals, bingo, and spending time together. He enjoyed cheering on Notre Dame and going to games for the Detroit Tigers, making trips to Frankenmuth, bowling with his grandchildren and his league friends. He treasured the friendships he built at work and genuinely enjoyed spending his days alongside his coworkers in the lab. He enjoyed playing Yahtzee and spending quality time at home with his wife. He loved watching fireworks light up the sky, and dressing as Santa Claus for Christmas to bring smiles to children. His kindness, warmth, and love for family and friends will be remembered by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life Service will take palce at a later date. Please check back for more information.
