Beloved wife of the late John Koluder and the late Robert W. Morrison. Beloved stepmother of Sue (Grover) Mann, Janice Kirch, the late Donald (Lisa) Kirch, Bill (Karen) Morrison, Donna Morrison and Alice (David Redmer) Taurence. Loving grandmother of Laura Mann, Helen Kendall (Alain Guédés), Justin (Breanna) Taurence, Olivia (Jack Clark) Kendall and Jordan Taurence (Ron Kelly). Dearest great grandmother of David, Troy, Preston, Isabella and Charlie. Dear sister of the late Joseph (Lee) Hughes. Patricia is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are appreciated to Arbor Hospice.

With hearts full of love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Patricia Morrison, who left this world peacefully at the age of 88. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Patricia’s life was a testament to strength, compassion, and a love for adventure.
Despite losing her parents at a young age, Patricia’s journey was shaped by the unwavering love of her adoptive parents, who adopted her and her brother, creating a foundation of family that she carried with her throughout her life. She attended St. Gregory High School, and shortly after, embarked on a solo adventure to Hawaii, igniting a lifelong passion for travel.
In 1957, she received her nursing diploma giving her entry into a nursing career where she could display her passion for caring for others with kindness and grace. She had a special talent for baking and decorating cakes, bringing joy to countless celebrations with her creations.
She married John Koluder in 1963. Together, they shared many adventurous trips and created countless memories until his passing in 1990.
In 1996, she found love again and married Robert Morrison. In Bob, Patricia gained not only a partner, but a family of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren whom she loved deeply. Together, she and Bob traveled often, creating treasured memories on road trips with their grandkids, filling the car with laughter and old radio shows. Patricia passed down her love of sewing, crocheting, and cooking to her granddaughter, leaving behind skills and traditions that will be carried on for generations.
In her later years, Patricia found joy and friendship with her beloved group of friends, the “Statababbis,” meaning “little old ladies” in Polish. They filled their days with craft shows, trips up north, and endless laughter – a sisterhood bound by love and shared adventures.
Patricia’s gentle spirit, warmth, and unwavering love for those around her will be dearly missed. Her legacy of kindness, creativity, and resilience will live on in all who were lucky enough to know her.
Though she is no longer with us, Patricia’s light will continue to shine in all the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
