Sandy DiSanto, 76 of Lincoln Park, passed away on May 31, 2025, in her home surrounded by family. Sandy was born on February 20,1949 to Martin and Evelyn Mann who preceded her in death. After her passing, Dolores Mann lovingly raised her. Sandy graduated from Trenton High School in 1967.

In 1973, Sandy married Mariano DiSanto whom she was married to for forty-four years before his passing. They had three children Giuseppe (Elizabeth) DiSanto, Nancy (Giuseppe) Mazzola and Angela (Trey) Reid. Proud Nonna to five grandchildren, Mariano, Nicholas, Nina, Silvana, and Vito. Also survived by her brothers Doug (Liz), Tim (Robin), Dennis (Bonnie), sister Janice (John, preceded in death), sister in laws Brigida (Angelo), Nilla (Vincenzo), Angela (Giuseppe, preceded in death) and many nieces and nephews.

Sandy was an amazing woman who truly loved life to her very last breath. She was known for her quick wit, sense of humor and infectious laughter. She brought joy to everyone around her, and she lived life to the fullest. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends. Sandy enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events where she was always their #1 fan, spending an evening at the casino, shopping and going for ice cream. Sandy will be remembered for her warmth, humor, and strength to get through tough times.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Henry Ford Rehabilitation-Wyandotte Hospital in Sandy’s memory.
