Dear Parishioners,
We are happy to announce that St. Joseph Church will be opening for Private Prayer, Eucharistic Adoration and Confessions beginning the week of May 4, 2020 on select days.
This decision is based on the Liturgical Directives from the Archdiocese of Detroit regarding COVID-19 on May 1, 2020.  Please adhere to the guidelines given to us regarding social distancing so that we can safeguard the health of those attending.
St. Joseph Church prayer schedule – starting Monday, May 4, 2020:

Private Prayers and Eucharistic Adoration: (Adoration will be in the church, the Chapel is still closed)
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm*

Confessions and Eucharistic Adoration:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm

(*Please note, if there is a funeral on Monday, Wednesday or Friday, the church will be closed in the morning and will reopen when the staff has had time to clean the church after the funeral.)
We will follow the same criteria regarding social distancing and ask if you could respect these guidelines to ensure the health and safety of your fellow parishioners.
Guidelines:
* Must wear a face mask, that covers your nose and mouth when entering the church.
* Follow social distancing and remain at least 6 feet apart in and outside the church.
* If you are sick, please remain at home.
A staff member will let approximately 10 people in at a time into the church, or until notified differently by the Archdiocese of Detroit.
You will be given a yellow sticky note when you enter the church. Place this on the pew where you are sitting, so after you leave, the staff will know where to sanitize.
We ask that your time in prayer be limited to 20 minutes so everyone can spend time with the Lord in the time allotted.
As a Community of Faith, we pray for the time when we can all be together again, and are grateful for this small step leading us in that direction.
God bless you and your family.
