Born in Wyandotte, Janet was the daughter of Gerald and Kathryn (Hamel) Johnson.  She married Charles Asher in 1980.  Sadly he preceded her in death in 2003.  A dedicated homemaker Janet also worked as a Physical Therapist Aide  for Henry Ford Hospital.

Janet leaves to cherish her memory her children: Matthew Kupchick and Linna (Terry) Juhasz; as well as 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 siblings:: Jerald Johnson and Joan Pobursky.

Ignazio “Tony” Biundo, age of 88, passed away peacefully in Lincoln Park, MI. Born and raised in Cinisi, Sicily, Italy. Beloved husband of Phyllis (Palazzolo) Biundo of 64 years.

Loving father of Larry, Geri (Phil) Rutkowski, Cathy (Frank) Furnari, Fran (Jim) Peraino. Loving grandfather of Felicia, Francesco, Jordan (Kaitlin), Maria (Corey), Tyler, Nicolas, Alex, and Max. Loving great-grandfather of Cora and Stella. Loving brother of Fara, late Girolama, late Pietro, Salvatore, Bettina, and Angela.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes of Allen Park Chapel, 10915 Allen Rd. Allen Park, MI 48101 from 3:00 – 9:00 pm. There will be a Rosary that evening during visitation. Service will take place on Friday, September 30, 2022 at St. Vincent Palloti Parish, 334 Elm St, Wyandotte, MI 48192. Instate will start at 9:30 am and Mass will start at 10:00 am. There will be a procession afterwards to Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery,

Kristina Fara Hoffee (Bommarito), age 53, of Woodhaven, Michigan passed on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Arbor Residence Hospice in Saline, Michigan. Kristina was born August 11, 1969 in Wyandotte, Michigan she is the daughter of John and Phyllis (Tocco) Bommarito. Kristina grew up in Southgate, Michigan where she attended Aquinas High School graduating in 1987. Kristina continued her education achieving two bachelor degrees from the University of Michigan Dearborn. Proceeding college Kristina was hired to work for Paysystems where she spent fifteen years working in the tax filing department. On October 10, 1998 Kristina married Ronald Hoffee of Trenton, Michigan at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Trenton Michigan. Kristina and Ronald settled into their Woodhaven residence in August 2001 where they currently reside. Kristina and Ronald have one daughter Gabriella Marie Hoffee born September 2005. Kristina retired from her professional career in August 2007 to spend quality time raising Gabriella and caring for her family. Kristina enjoyed traveling, home decorating, leisure strolls, relaxing in her swimming pool, and she especially loved spending time with her family. Kristina was a very kind hearted person who looked after and touched people in more ways than she ever knew. Her grandparents preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband, Ronald of Woodhaven; daughter, Gabriella (Gabby); parents, John and Phyllis Bommarito of Riverview; sibling, Michelle (Richard) Lupico of Cedar Springs; sibling, John Bommarito of Woodhaven.

Have you recently buried a loved one? Do you feel alone in your grief? St Vincent Pallotti Parish is offering a free Grief Support Group. Facilitated by member, Joe Ososkie. Each session will focus on a suggested theme such as stages of grief, health issues and managing anxiety.
The group will meet every Tuesday from Oct. 11 (excluding Nov. 1) through Nov. 22 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Room 1 of the St Joseph Church Hall. To register, please phone the parish office.

Thomas John McCarville.  Age 82 of Saginaw.

Born in Detroit, MI to Edward Amos McCarville and Mary Catherine (Cronin) McCarville whom have preceded him in death. Thomas is the beloved father of Maria McCarville and Lisa McCarville. Loving grandfather of Emily (Randy) Dennis, Juliann (Mark) Wheatley, Angela (George) Sumner, April McCarville and Avery McCarville. Great grandfather of James Wheatley and Jacob Wheatley. Dear brother of Monica (Carl) Nelson, Michael McCarville, Patricia (John) Candiloro, William McCarville and Theresa McCarville. Preceded in death by his siblings Nancy (Skip) Buckley, Mary Ann (Tom) Quisenberry, Roger (Doris) McCarville and Kenneth McCarvill. Former spouse of Mary Ann McCarville. He will also be missed by his cherished extended family and friends. Thomas was a skilled carpenter and an avid reader. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and Tigers baseball.

Drabek, James of Lincoln Park passed away August 5th, 2022 at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Elizabeth “Libby” Drabek. Loving father of James V (Melissa) Drabek. Dearest brother of Daniel (Linda) Drabek and John Drabek. Cherished grandfather of Connor James and Abigayle Elizabeth. James was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion, as well as the US Steel Workers. In his free time, James loved to fish. A memorial Mass will be held in his memory on September 10th, 2022 at 10:00am at St. Vincent Pallotti – St. Joseph worship site in Wyandotte.
