We are one parish with two worship sites: St. Joseph Church, 344 Elm St. and St. Patrick Church, 135 Superior Blvd. You will find our parish rich in history and deeply committed to the traditions of our parish founders as well as to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The parish offers many opportunities for involvement by people of every age. If you are not a parishioner, please contact us at any time to learn more about our parish and how to become a member. Directives when attending Mass:
– FACE MASKS must cover mouth and nose during time inside the church.
– NO FACE SHIELDS unless worn over a cloth face mask.
– SOCIAL DISTANCING of at least 6 ft. apart.
– DISTRIBUTION of Holy Communion in the hand only at this time.
– LIMITED NUMBER of attendees, 50% of church capacity.
– HAND SANITIZER – as a precaution, bring your own to use.
Dispensation from attending Mass is given until Ash Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

ARCHDIOCESE OF DETROIT
November 13, 2020 – Archbishop Vigneron has extended the dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation for all the faithful in the Archdiocese of Detroit until Ash Wednesday, February 17, 2021.

October 9, 2020 – Public health officials at the state, county and city levels have issued orders this week related to public gatherings and safety protocols in light of the Michigan Supreme Court’s decision last Friday. CORONAVIRUS UPDATES
July 13, 2020 – Gov. Whitmer signed Executive Order 2020-147, which reiterates that individuals are required to wear a face covering whenever they are in an indoor public space. It also requires the use of face coverings in crowded outdoor spaces. Most significantly, the order requires any business that is open to the public to refuse entry or service to people who refuse to wear a face covering, with limited exceptions.
