Public health officials at the state, county and city levels have issued orders this week related to public gatherings and safety protocols in light of the Michigan Supreme Court’s decision last Friday. Nothing in these orders changes our current requirements for liturgical gatherings including Mass, Baptisms, Weddings, Funerals, Confessions, and Eucharistic Adoration.

If changes need to be made regarding non-liturgical activities, further communication will be provided. Until that time, please continue to follow all established guidelines and directives (especially related to the need for indoor gatherings requiring masks) which have been issued from the Archdiocese of Detroit for the liturgy, non-liturgical gatherings, and Catholic schools.

**Due to the recent State Mandate and rise in Coronavirus cases, the Happy Cookers regret to inform you that the Cookie Box Sale has now been canceled. Anyone who turned in an order form and payment will be refunded. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience. We hope to reprise this fundraiser at a later date.

Detroit Catholic just published an article regarding Fr. Mike’s vision to honor Wyandotte’s historic Catholic churches by replacing the existing windows at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wyandotte.

“It was Fr. Michael’s vision to beautify the church. His legacy to the church was this idea,” Fr. McCarrick said. “He spent 15 years at this parish. As priests, we are all aware that we only pass through the parish for a period of time, but the church still belongs to the people.”
